THE TRAINING OBJECTIVES OF SOT OUTDOOR TRAINING
The training objectives of SOT methodology can be built up by emphasizing either individual or team component, and by developing the relative behavioral skills through outdoor training.
Individual area
- To strengthen the ability to manage changes and hesitation through a flexible behavior
- To develop the ability to manage time and priorities.
- To improve emotional balance and the ability to manage stress.
- To become aware that one’s personal limits are self-imposed criteria rather that unalterable laws.
- To strengthen one’s own self-esteem and assertiveness.
- To become aware of individual potentialities still unexpressed.
- To strengthen one’s own tenacity and pursuit of the objectives.
- To strengthen the ability to put oneself to the test, go out from one’s own comfortable area and manage risks
